The Taste & Toast Competition brings together ten teams of local chefs and mixologists as they showcase their creativity and compete head-to-head—all to benefit Valerie’s House and its mission that no child should grieve alone.

Each team will present a petite cocktail and food pairing designed to delight your taste buds while raising vital funds for grieving children and families in our community. Leading up to and during the event, teams will rally for your votes through monetary donations, with every dollar bringing them closer to victory—and helping Valerie’s House continue its life-changing work.

Calling All Chef + Mixologist Teams!

Join us for the Taste & Toast competition at Valerie’s House Pensacola’s Cocktails for a Cause, a spirited evening that blends holiday cheer with heartfelt purpose in support of National Children’s Grief Awareness Month.

We’re inviting ten dynamic chef and mixologist duos to create unforgettable cocktail and hors d’oeuvre pairings for our guests while competing against some of the best in the business. Let’s raise a glass, and some funds, for children who need it most!

We’re excited to announce that this year’s competition has been expanded to 10 team slots (up from 6 last year!). Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis upon team acceptance, so don’t wait to secure yours.

To keep the menu fresh and ensure the best experience for our guests, some teams may be asked to adjust dishes to avoid duplicates. Priority will be given in the order teams commit.
